Starlite Solar Lanterns represent a first in technological innovation in the fact that a once exclusively indoor lighting concept has been converted for use outdoors. What makes Starlite Lanterns different from anything like them before or since, is the fact that they are produced from weather proof PVC material using fade-resistant inks. Although each unit ships flat, they can be easily expanded by sliding the plastic lock tab down the polyethylene lanyard. The hanging solar module each unit displays from has a wire extending from it to the LED light strand woven through the points of the star, allowing it to fully illuminate at night. The solar rechargeable 1.2v @ 300mAh AAA Ni-MH battery included is replaceable and will provide up to 5 hrs. of light operation on a single charge.
